Are you tired of constantly checking your Google Mail inbox for unread messages? Look no further than the Google Mail Checker Chrome extension. With a total rating of 4.1 based on user reviews, this handy tool is designed to help you stay organized and never miss an important email again.
One of the key features of this extension is its ability to display the number of unread messages directly in your Google Mail inbox. Gone are the days of constantly refreshing your inbox to see if there are any new emails waiting for you. With just a glance at the extension's icon, you can easily see how many unread messages you have.
But that's not all - with a simple click of a button, you can open your inbox directly from the extension. No more wasting time searching for the Gmail tab in your browser. Just click the button and you'll be taken to your inbox in an instant.
What Users Are Saying
Let's take a look at what users have to say about their experience with the Google Mail Checker extension:
Piet Konings: "Doesn't work anymore, freezes constantly and doesn't respond to mouse clicks. Disappointing!"
Estrague Shadowdancer: "Good idea. Poor execution. I find it really sad that of the plugins I regularly use, the one actually from Google and is fairly simplistic compared to the others is the buggiest."
Fernando Savi: "The best!!"
Jim Fath: "Does what it says but, several times a month, it will simply stop working. Nothing will happen when you click the icon. In those instances, you have to right-click, select manage extension, and turn off the extension, then turn it back on. This started happening a few years back and has never been addressed."
Fernando Ribeiro: "I've been using the extension for a long time, really like it, but now it's incorrectly updating the number of emails. It shows about 50 more unread emails than it actually has. I've already reinstalled it, but it's still buggy. I don't know how to fix it."
José Miguel Valverde: "If it's not working for you, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the browser, go to 'More tools', and then click on 'Extensions'. Look for the Google Mail Checker extension and in its box, click on the button in the bottom right corner to slide it to the right and disable it. Then click on this button again to enable it again, and it should start working again."
Chris Knife: "For a few months now, there's been a problem where the extension suddenly stops working. The icon in the top right corner doesn't show any new emails, and when you click on it, nothing happens. If you turn off and on the extension in the options, it starts working again. This wasn't the case before. Otherwise, it's a great extension that I can't live without."
Nick Schürmann: "Stopped working."
DarckObelix: "Top."
Jonatan Melo: "Lately, it's not working. It doesn't update or redirect."
As you can see, the Google Mail Checker extension has received mixed reviews from users. While some users have experienced issues such as freezing and unresponsiveness, others find it to be a convenient and essential tool for managing their Gmail inbox.
Despite the occasional bugs, the Google Mail Checker extension remains a popular choice for those seeking to stay organized and keep track of their unread messages in Google Mail. Give it a try and see how it can streamline your email management process.

I really like this, but recently if you have multiple windows open and this open in one - you are unable to open it again. This happens to me very often and it is very irritating. Would be 5 stars without

Its a little bit buggy, sometimes the number keep stuck at unread mails, sometimes its not showing new mails, but newer for longer than a day.
And thats better than missing emails all together

The checked gets stuck every now and then, showing a badge with number, but clicking it doesn't do anything. I have to unpin it from the bar and pin it again to refresh it, then clicking opens gmail again and badge disappears. Mildly annoying.
